Lectio Divina ("divine reading") describes a way of meditation by praying the Scriptures which progresses from reading to prayerful reflection, to personal response and finally to our personal resolution in response to God.  Inspired by the writings of St. Teresa of Avila, we will examine and practice Lectio Divina in the spirit of Teresian prayer.

These Lectures and Workshops are intended to assist participants in establishing and navigating an Interior Life based on the tradition of Teresian Prayer. We will focus on seeking and encountering God in prayer and encouraging the faithful in true friendship with God. These Lectures and Workshops are offered free of charge however, we gratefully accept donations in support of our Basilica’s Restoration Project.
