Foundations of Prayer: Humility, Fraternal Charity, & Detachment

Presented by members of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites of San Antonio.

This Lecture will review Teresian Spirituality and the Charism of Prayer based on the writings of St. Teresa of Avila.  We will examine her teaching on how the virtues of Fraternal Charity, Detachment and Humility, both as precursors to prayer and their practical application for daily living, can lead us to a deeper, more authentic way of prayer.

Saturday, August 13, 2022 9am to 12pm at the Little Flower Parish Hall, 907 Kentucky Ave.
